Laser Physicist - Posted 11 August 2009
We are seeking a Laser Physicist to join our R & D team.
Applicants should have a good degree in Physics and ideally a PhD in an optics related discipline. A comprehensive understanding of solid state lasers is required and preferably experience in the design of Nd:YAG based lasers. It would be beneficial for applicants to have experience in mechanical design. You may be required to travel worldwide and need to be motivated with a keen interest in the laser industry.

Laser Test Engineer - Posted 11 August 2009
We require an engineer to test laser systems in a production environment. The role will involve the optical assembly, test and characterisation of Nd:YAG laser systems. Applicants should ideally have an undergraduate degree in an experimental science or an engineering subject and be able to demonstrate good practical and problem solving capabilities. Applicants may be required to travel abroad on occasion for systems installation.

Electronics Engineer - Posted 22 January 2010
We currently have a vacancy for an electronics engineer to work in our R&D department designing laser power supplies and control electronics. Applicants should be qualified to a minimum of degree level and have experience in both high power analogue and digital electronics. An understanding of software for embedded control applications would be advantageous.
